Last updated: February 24, 2026
Loro is committed to keeping our marketplace safe. This page helps you transact confidently and spot scams before they happen. Please read it before buying or selling anything on the platform.
Safety Tips
Meet in well-lit public places — police station parking lots or busy plazas are ideal
Inspect the item fully before paying
Avoid deposits and prepayments until Loro has official payments and protections in place
Use in-chat communication so there is always a record
Beware urgency tactics — phrases like 'pay now or lose it' are red flags
Verify the seller's identity where possible before meeting
Common Scam Warnings
Fake Delivery Promises
Seller claims item was shipped after receiving payment, but no delivery ever comes.
Fake Payment Screenshots
Buyer sends a doctored screenshot claiming they've paid when no money was transferred.
OTP & Password Requests
Someone asks for your one-time password or account password — Loro will never ask for this.
Overpayment Scams
Buyer 'accidentally' overpays and asks you to refund the difference before the original payment clears.
